"KC" certification is a national unified certification mark implemented by the Korean National Standards Committee, and lithium batteries are included in the KC certification catalog as a compulsory certification product. At present, the testing of portable secondary lithium battery packs and lithium batteries must be performed by authorized laboratories in South Korea, and cannot be transferred with the CB report of IEC 62133. After the product has passed the evaluation, a confirmation letter of declaration with a validity period of 5 years will be issued, during which no factory inspection is required.

be careful:
1. In the KC application form, if the applicant is a Korean company, the factory can write the actual factory name and address. If the applicant is a non-South Korean company, the applicant and factory information must be the same person;
2. In the model division table, when selecting the ETC option, it is necessary to specify the materials used for the lithium battery in the back;
3. The parameter information in all specifications must be consistent, and the letters with the same symbol representing different meanings must be specially marked.
For the parameters and specification information of a certain series of models, the source files need to be attached;
4. There is a difference between the manual and the specification. The manual informs the end customer about the method of use, while the specification informs the product specification composition, both of which must be in Korean or English;
5. The warnings and packaging methods need to be in Korean. You can refer to the Chinese-Korean warning version provided by Barron;
6. The Korean nameplate requires the Korean representation of lithium batteries, marked with the KC logo, coded in accordance with the CB method, and left the local contact number in Korea;
7. If there is no lithium battery production scope in the ISO certificate of the applicant, a self-quality declaration is required.
